When you’re marking a milestone birthday like your 10th anniversary, you need to pull out all the stops and open your home to the legends that have made you who you are. And in case you didn’t know, Electric Zoo’s got some lions lined up for you!
We couldn’t be happier to bring back the man that DJ Mag readers voted as the “best DJ of the last 20 years” and four-time Ezoo headliner Tiësto for our big 1-0! The Dutchman will also be joined by Swedish superstar and veritable EDM icon Alesso.
We’re also delighted to welcome Destructo to Randall’s Island and the EZoo family. He’s going to be bringing his new AMFAMFAMF brand to the festival this year in a very special stage takeover. Last year’s standout new act Jauz is set to return for 2018, while Belgian newcomer and future house purveyor Lost Frequencies will be bringing his churning momentum to the city that never sleeps
At the lower end of the sound spectrum, we’re bringing frequent Bassnectar collaborators G Jones and Luzcid, as well as the infectious bounce-heavy brand of deep house of Brohug.
Flosstradamus’ Josh Young is returning with his fire new project YehMe2, and we’ve also got Monstercat favorites KUURO, driving, low slung grooves from Whipped Cream, big room bass from Parker, and multi-instrumental trap from the talented Alexander Lewis.
At the crunchier end of things, Boogie T, Infuze, and Space Jesus all feature, while Squnto will be delivering his own brand of nightmarish glitchcore. We’re also delighted to have the exciting Jauz prodigy GG Magree and her unique brand of power feminine trap.
This year is all about the crossover sounds, and we’re bringing out radiant electronica from the likes of Codeko, Crankdat, DNMO, and Kayzo, with frequent Dillon Francis collaborator Party Favor also bringing the vibes.
In our more serene moments on the Island, Chuurch, Cray, Medasin and heady pop duo BONNIE x CLYDE will provide the soundtrack. DEVAULT is going to be bringing a unique brand of atmospheric, dramatic electronica, which is not to be missed. Toronto duo Loud Luxury, Anjuna regular Spencer Brown, UK RnB provocateurs Stooki Sound, local Jersey Club queen UNIIQU3, and abstract pop purveyors Deux round out our crossover flavors.
With many of our underground announcements yet to come (watch this space!) we’re teasing some of it out with German techno mainstay Chris Liebing and D.C. heavyweight Dubfire, who we’re bringing in for an extended b2b session.
We’ve got a fierce showing on the G-house, UK garage and deep, deep house front with Birmingham bass’ finest Chris Lorenzo, Nightbass regular Petey Clicks, and garage slinger Redlight. Neurotic deep house selector NOIZU will also be featuring, and prepare yourself for the laser-basted deep house and garage of Habstrakt.
